That really puts things into perspective. I don't wear collars on mine whiel in the house or yard, but sometimes when we come back from a walk, I just unsnap their leashes and leave the collars on. I ALWAYS make sure they don't have a collar on if we aren't home though. Your situation proves that you can be home and still have a problem. Thank God your ex saw what was going on, even if he did think they were fighting:rolleyes: At least he got your attention and was there to help, I guess ex's aren't always bad.
I am glad to hear that they both are going to be ok. Thanks for the reminder.

Omg...

Thank God, everyones fine. As I was reading your thread my heart was pounding...but luckly everything turned out for the best and it was only scare...I personally try not to put any collars on Jackie, because she dosen't like them and I like the harness better. But sometimes I have to put her collar on because all her tags are on there, it just depends where were going. Bottom line I'm so glad your babies are fine and it didn't turn into a horrible accident.:o

Oh god, how awful for you. my heart sank when I read your thread. You must have been so worried, I think I'd have been having a heart attack. Thank goodness they're ok.

I am so going to take off Lola & Zeb's collars in the house and garden now, they play rough and are always biting at each others collars.

Thanks for the warning

I am so glad that they are both ok. I had a scare like that with Abby. She also got her collar caught on something and by the time I got her lose all of the blood vessels in her eyes were busted. I will never put a collar on Atlas unless we are going for a walk.
