Almost 11 week old Pup

Duke has started *humping, already! I was quite surprised, but he has chosen my daughter's leg to do this with. And it's only her (out of the other 3 kids)! Dominance issue? excited? instinct? It starts off as him wanting to play, nip and bark-- then he wraps his front legs around her leg and goes at it.

This does sound like a dominance issue. Not sure how to work on it, but I am sure someone will be along with advice.

I have a 14 week old boxer, and he also humped a few things around 10 weeks, it was mostly other big dogs that he would play with he would hump their backs ...and he tried on a leg once but then he hasnt done it much since so maybe he will stop and im also guessing that if its a little kid it does sound like domince ..Sorry dont have a suggestion ..Just wanted to share that my stoped doing it ...
