Jessie was also very allergic to storage mites. We switched to raw.
Between the food change and the shots Jessie is having a much happier season (early as it is).

I did think about changing to raw but chicken makes him scratch and chew his paws, both raw or in kibble so that would take a big chunk of affordable meat out of his diet :(

I now use large bird feed storage tubs which are airtight. All food gets transferred out of the original packaging into liners for the storage tub. So far so good
