That's interesting, I found info where the FDA had tested positive for salmonella in their food - some specific diets not all. Anyway, thanks for the info I shall look into it for my own knowledge.

If this was relatively recently (within a year or so) this was never truly confirmed. It was a big issue due to that. NB actually had 3rd party testing done which found nothing. Regardless salmonella doesn't cause harm to dogs (hence the reason they can eat raw meat and eggs and be fine), so it shouldn't be an issue.
Just to minimize issues NB did a voluntary recall, but there wasn't enough evidence to truly convince me there was an issue, and I was feeding the food with the supposed "tainted" bags, yet both of my dogs were fine (one who has severe allergies the other who was immune compromised due to multiple diseases), so for me there was never enough evidence.
Wow well its good to see they went to the trouble of doing additional testing, and issued a voluntary recall, seems they are definitly on top of things. Glad your pups were OK.
