My 4 month old puppy has just been treated for giardia and coccidia. Now, 4 days after starting the meds I have noticed small red bumps all over his body. He is currently taking Metronidazole, Albon and Panacur Susp. Any thoughts on whether or not this is causing his rash? Thanks!

Anything is possible. I would absolutely call your vet immediately.
I do not know if any are sulfa based or not but we are finishing up with the meds and the rash all over his body seems to be clearing up nicely. Hopefully we can get him straightened out, what a mess! Another thought I had for the reaction is we got a can of some purina wet special vet food to give him because he wasn't eating. Thought it could be that also. We have since quit giving him the wet and are sticking with the Wellness kibble.
