oatmeal and barley

I have noticed too that most of the really good foods have oatmeal and barley and Clifford is allergic to those as well. Has anyone had good results with the Nature's Recipe?

Alot of the really good foods have oatmeal and barley which Clifford is allergic to also. Has anyone had good results with the Natures Variety Frozen Patties? I looked at the ingredients and there was nothing that he is allergic to in them.

I've not tried the frozen patties, but I have tried the freeze drid. It worked wonderfully. You could try the Venison and Pumpkin seed.

more allergies

Here's a question: I looked at the ingredients in the pumpkin and venison blend and way down the list of ingredients (around 20th) was sage. Sage is one of the things that Clifford is the most allergic to. But it is so far down the list there can't be very much at all. Does anyone have any idea how this would affect him? On a separate note, is the freeze dried easier to use than the frozen patties? I have to admit, I am looking for some convenience.

sage

The freeze dried is VERY expensive. You could try the smallest bag you could find of the kibble. See if the other flavors have sage.

For convenience, you might try Essex Cottage Farms. They've got blends to mix with raw or cooked hamburger. They've got an allergy formula, a sensitive stomach formula and even a grain free mix. You can mix up a week's at a time.

I ordered the Essex from Alpha Nutrition on line. You can get the distributor list from the essex cottage farm web site. http://www.efarms.cc

The Nature's Variety has a web site, too. But I get it from Red Bandana Dog Foods here in Atlanta. You can check the NV site at http://www.naturesvariety.com

NV is the one with the Venison and Pumpkin seed variety. They've got a kibble, freeze dried and raw.
