Our 5 month old Domi broke out in an allergic reaction last night! Bumps ALL over his body and his poor little eyes were so swollen. Of course I freaked out but my fiance remained calm and we ended up taking him over to a good friend of ours who is a nurse/dog expert. She gave him so benadrill and it seemed to help but by the time we got home and about an hour later he started breaking out again, this time alot worse so we took him to the ER were they gave him a shot. This was about 10:00 last night and we have been giving him regular doses of benadrill as directed. About an hour ago (4:30) he started breaking out again with no signs all day! I gave him an early dose and he has cleared up. The ER told me that it is common for them to break out again 12 hours after their shot. I am still not sure what it is from, or if it is going to come back again tonight. I heard word from my brother that my crazy great aunt gave him a big piece of turkey.....sound like this could be possible and if so how long is his allergic reaction going to last???
