Aleve Alert

I just wanted to let everyone know of the danger of Aleve and your boxer. I had left a bottle of Aleve on the Micro one night when we went out. When we got home Casssius had broken the bottle in half and ate 6 of the pills. Called vet and had to induce vomitting, also had to have kidney function testing done the next day. He had no kidney damage, but it made tiny ulcers in his stomach, which bled.........I just want everyone to know that this drug is extremely toxic to dogs. Don't want any other pup to have to go through this.

Also I know this sounds weird... But if your dog ingests Chocolate... Give them peroxide until they throw up... I can't remember where I read this but Daisy at a whole thing of brownies and we gave her 2 tablespoons of peroxide and she threw up... But don't forget to call the vet.
