Good morning BoxerWorld,
We are having a little bit of an issue this morning, and we were wondering if anyone has some advice, or has gone through anything like this with their boxers? This morning while feeding our dogs (we have 3 boxers, Askum, Mollee, and Magnus), All the dogs are fed seperately as the oldest male, Askum has a tendency to be protective of his food around the other dogs. Askum snuck into the kitchen with the pup, Magnus (11 months old), and they ended up getting into a fight, which my wife and I quickly broke up. After we seperated the dogs, and they all ate their breakfast, Magnus tried three more time to attack Askum and we had to intervene each time (All three times he went back after Askum was when my wife was near Askum, paying attention to him). There was no issue between Magnus (the pup), and Mollee (the female). Once we seperated the two males for a final time, and sent Askum upstairs away from Magnus, everything was fine for a bit, until my wife tried to pet our female (Mollee), and the pup started to get aggressive towards Mollee now and was on the verge of attacking her. Nothing like this has happened before in the 11 months we have had the pup, and just started up out of the blue this morning. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? Or any advice?
