I love Dianne. The boxer community would be lost without her! Do you happen to be a member of Potomac Boxer Club? If so, I have some questions for you! Congratulations on your newest addition
I visit the PWC animal shelter almost every week. I never saw him :( Of course I didn't make it last week and am going today on my lunch break. PWC is not the least bit rescue friendly and are not even the most helpful when you come in to adopt a dog. I attended a class that was held for another rescue organization that I am associated with there to learn how to temperament test shelter dogs. Those trainers told us that it took them over a year to get PWC to allow them to "donate" each of their Saturdays to temperament test these animals (and they had to start by cleaning kennels first by the way). PWC does adopt out on spay/neuter contracts but doesn't follow up on them. I offered them (before I moved) 8 hours of my time a week to call and follow up on all spay/neuters contracts. They declined and said I needed to first start out cleaning kennels. It's not that I minded cleaning kennels but that certainly isn't going to help cut down on pet overpopulation. Enough of my rambling. Please keep me in mind for a boxer bash. I'd love to meet you sometime
