We got Hooch from a rescue centre 2 weeks ago and he was quite thin and had a horrible gastric upset...but having sorted that out I had him weighed this week and at 6-7 months ( vets estimation) he was 48lbs...will weigh him again next month to check on his progress.
As long as the vet doesn't see a problem, I think it's fine. All dogs are different.
I had a hard time getting any kind of weight on Ikaika (4 years now & 71lbs), but Mailani has a lot of muscle. She does not appear to be big, but she weighs in (at 1 year) 67 pounds. She is smaller than Ikaika in height and size, just full of muscle.
hi, our girl holly weighed in at 19lbs at 3 months old we had her weighed again at four months and she weighed nearly 30LBs. She is now nearly five months old and due at the vets at the end of the month, i'll let you know how much she weighs then!!
my eldest girl, Belle is 4 and about 65 pounds
Copper at 3 and a half, is a big boy weighing in at over 90 pounds, and our lil girl Holly was 15 pounds at 10 weeks, now at 3 1/2 months she's approaching 30 pounds and growing fast!!
Last Tuesday(10th), when we took Paisley for her shots, the vet said she weighed 10.5 lbs at 9 weeks and 3 days old. I think she's gained a pound or two since then though!:D
Joey is 4 1/2 months and 33lbs and he is not fat at all, I actually think he still looks ribby, and he eats a lot! he is at a cup in the morning and a cup 1/2 at dinner, and lots of doggie cookies! vet said he is right on track
