I have a seven year old female white boxer who has become extremely afraid of thunder storms. This behavior issue has become worse, to the point that she is now afraid to go outside when it is raining. Maybe she is connecting the rain with thunder. She wants to hide in the cellar and spends most of the afternoon and evening there. All it takes is a loud noise or anything that somewhat sounds like thunder for her to start panting and off to the cellar she goes. How can we help her, its heartbreaking. Thanks in advance for any assistance
