San Antonio Boxer Rescue was shut down, recently. There are other options for you, Lone Star Boxer Rescue in Houston www.lonestarboxerrescue.com. I have adopted both of my dogs through LSBR, and I highly suggest you contact Sharon, there.

There is also Boxer rescue in Dallas, Vasha could probably help you with getting a contact over there.

I was just curious why the recue group adopted out your male without neutering or a neuter contract. Seems very irresponsible of them.

Reputable rescue groups do not adopt out intact animals. Individual people who falsely claim to be rescuers or some shelters let dogs go intact. They are certainly not in the same category as reputable rescues. If you adopted him at 12 weeks though, you would have been able to see if he had been neutered recently. He looked neutered and they said they had neutered him? That would be very frustrating.
