Hi guys just wondering if you could shed any advice on a strange habit one of my friends dog has. Firstly I'll give you a bit of background info. I have a eight month old red bitch (I'm from england we say red you guys say fawn)called Shankley my friend has a two year old dog called Chester. The dogs are the best of friends and love to play in the fields together. However the last few times we have noticed that every so often Chester will squat down as if to do his business (number two). The first time he squats everything is as it should be and we have to get out our pooper scoopers. However after a bit more running he will squat down again and nothing will come out except for a bit of liquid, however his penis will extend as if he is sexually excited. This will then happen every 5 or 10 minutes until we go back home. We think it is a bit strange is he getting confused or is there a problem we should be aware of.
