Advice and help on fainting

10 month old white boxer, had every test under the sun, all negative. Faints, tires easily and overheats. Can anyone help? He has been to the hospital, had ECG, 24 ECG, lots of blood tests, exercise tests. Been to Cardiology and Neurlogy for tests but nothing. Faints when he gets really excited and playing with other dogs. Advice please?

Has anyone taken a look at his palate? All bracycephalic breeds suffer to some extent from the palate obstructing the airway, but for some individuals, it's more extreme than for others. My own dog has this problem, though he hasn't yet fainted as a result. The problem is known as elongated palate, and in extreme cases requires surgery to fix it (can eventually lead to collapse of the windpipe otherwise). That is one possibility I can think of.

But, I'd suggest doing a search of the forums here, using the term "fainting". I have recollections of one or two threads similar to yours, but too vaguely to be able to tell you what the cause/solution was.

Is the 24 hour ECG considered a holter monitor?
If so was he allowed to have normal play activity while wearing it?
Did he have any episodes while being monitored?
Did they do an ultra sound of the heart/lungs?
It's so frustrating when the tests show nothing!

Thanks for replying, yes it was a holter and while it was on they had him running around but he had no episodes while it was on. I am unsure whether to go back again or not as they found nothing last time. Although he is now a few months older. They did also do an ultrasound but found nothing. He does have a small heart murmur but apparently that is common and would not cause the fainting.
