We recently adopted a Boxer from a shelter, and it seems as though he was malnurished, anemic, and seemed to be badly treated. When we got Zeus, we did not know what to expect. I have never, ever thought of adopting a boxer, however when me and my wife saw Zeus we knew he would be a great addition to our family, and would give Dakota a friend to play with. So far he has adjusted well, and we have managed to put some pounds on him. For those of you out there that have never, or would never think about adopting a dog, Zeus is a great example of how these dogs make great friends.
