We have a beautiful 2 1/2 year old female and couldn't be happier. So happy in fact, that her little brother (same breeder, same dam and sire) arrives tonight.
I have a question to anyone who has brought a new puppy into the mix. Did you do anything different the second time around? More specifically, with Kona, we crate trained her for her first few months and gradually worked her into the house. By 6 mos she was totally trusted in the house and she has never had an accident nor developed any chewing problems. Should I do the same with the new male or can I trust Kona to "show him the ropes?" The only reason I ask is that I have heard conflicting advice from friends, acquatences, etc.
