Boxer Pal
I would like some feedback from everyone about adding a new baby. i saw a 9mth old that is available for adoption who was given up from a young working couple. She is fawn/black mask from the pic on the website. Anyway. Mandy will be 10 soon and is sluggish lately but in perfect health. i wanted to introduce a new girl to Sarah age 4 to have a new friend before Mandy may go to the bridge. I am leary of 3 females and of 2's company...3's a crowd. The 2 girls i have need so much attention, will I be able to give to all? also, never had a 9 month old. have adopted at 2yrs and up. What can I expect in everyones experiences??thanks. Positive or negative feedback welcome!:)

I have a 4 month old male, Marley, and I just rescued an 8 month old female, Kaya. I don't know hos 3 females would get along, but I can attest to the energy level of an 8 month old female. SHE IS CRAZY!!!!! Her and my 4 month old are non-stop rough-housing playmates! Seriously, she is wwwaaayyy more rambunctious than my 4 month old. She is going through her "terrible twos" - which some people believe in, and some people think it's a crock. But, I can definitely tell that she is a different than just a month ago. If they do go through that stage, I understand that it lasts for about 4-6 months. I would say go for it! The more, the merrier! As much as I yell & scream at mine to leave the cats alone, play nice, etc., I think it's totally worth it!

I forgot to add - getting another Boxer baby will probably not require more attention on your part. That's what the other Boxers are for! I spent way more time and attention when I only had Marley - now Kaya keeps him busy, so they both stay outta my hair!
