BEMarley
Boxer Booster
now it's my turn.... I've seen this subject posted many times and when I get some more time I'm going to do a search and re-read them all....but my hubby and I are thinking about getting another boxer. And the hardest thing is that we've already got our heart set on one that we saw at the rescue (same one that we got Marley from) I'm leaning towards "no" and my hubby is leaning towards "yes". (of course) These are my doubts....we have a small house and small yard. I wish they were bigger just for one dog let alone two. Another one is financial. Granted just food and the vet wouldn't be that much more, right? As long as they're both healthy. Then there's my parents, our primary baby sitters. It took them a while to warm up to Marley and now they absolutely love him. The few times a year they watch him I think they actually look forward to! (Marley does too...) There's no way they would watch two dogs. So who would watch two big dogs?
But I talk to people who have more than one dog and they swear by it....they think it's more fair to the dogs. Then they have one of "their own" to play with. They wouldn't have it any other way. So they talk my ear off and get me on "their side." Then I'm all ready to get another! Yippee!
Then I'll talk to someone who only has one dog and they love it that way and think we're crazy for wanting another. So they give me all their reasons and doubts and then I'm siding with them and think one dog is enough.
So yes, I'm being a wishy-washy woman! What should I do? I'm sure most of you will try to talk me into getting another, right?
But another thing to consider....we might want to have skin-kids some day. Are we really crazy then? Two boxers and one newborn?
Ugh...what to do? I'm driving my husband nuts with all this!
