Girlfriend and I will be welcoming a 1 yr old Boxer named Tigger which we have chosen to adopt. We are looking for some help in aiding Tigger adept to our home and to us? When we visit our breeder to see him and Holly, Tigger is too preoccupied to pay any attention to us. He's a jumping kangaroo and like to run around, has lots and lots of energy.
We understand we have our hands full in getting him to break some bad habits but we're pretty determined and know with some hard work he will develop into a wonderful Boxer.
Any help with acclamation would be great.

Thanks
Andre

While you are waiting to bring Tigger home with you, take a few toys (which will be hers alone) to the breeder to keep with her. Also take a T-shirt from each of you which smells like you and leave it with the trainer.

I'm sure everything will be just fine. Dogs adjust to new homes quite readily especially if there is love and treats and food for them there.

Good luck.
