Max weighing in at 50 pounds drags me across the yard just to get back to the house.. he has no interest in being outside, he will go out to potty on the tie out, (we live about 20 ft from the road and havnt put up a fence yet) but thats it and back to the door he goes... i got a halti introduced him to it the way the booklet said and he second he smelled it he ran to the couch and sat and wouldnt come near it.. i finally got him to let me put it on with out struggling or sneaking it on him and all he does is pull it off with his feet or try to anyways, he wont walk or move with it on he just sits there trying to pull it off i tried distracting him with food and toys but he just gives me that mad boxer look... should i try something else? a choker chain maybe? or is there a difference in the GL? im totally at my whitts end with both of these dogs i feel like im not doing anything right...

Please do not use a choker on your baby, if he is wanting to get back that bad, then he will choke himself just do it. It won't change the problem and he will injure himslef instead. I agree, work with him on training. Have you thought about just taking him on walks? Make it a really fun experience, lots of praise and treats when he finally does go potty. Then he will look forward to go outside, plus it's good one - one time with you two.

Bosco would also drag me across the road, but he loves walks. if he would pull, I would stop, have him sit and continue. Or just run around the other way and walk. You might want to start off with a short walk b/c it will take some time. Just be very patient and persistnet and you will have one great/wonderful boxer on your hands!!!! Good Luck

Good, glad to hear your baby is making some improvement. It does take some time, just be patient and I promise it will pay off :)
