ABC Regional?

I'll be there. 
I will have a six month old WILD pup there. Should be quite a show. :D There will be a couple of others that I co-own also entered.
We are doing a blood draw for Boxer Health Research during the Regional. The Broad Institute is doing research to find a DNA test for several different diseases. Right now it looks very promising to find the cause of Renal Dysplasia. Won't it be great to eliminate this terrible killer through testing and responsible breeding. Anyway, anyone attending with an AKC boxer needs to bring a copy of their AKC papers and sign up for the blood draw. Quick, painless and it will really help our boxers. There is no charge for this!

I knew I'd get a response from you.
Our classic boy is entered selectively thoughout the week and weekends.
Do you know if the research folks will be there all week, or just one day? I'll sign up on one of his off days for this. Maybe I'll load my bitch in the car one day and bring her down since she'll have nothing better to do. :D

We will be drawing blood on one or two days, depending on the number of interested people we get? Tuesday and Thursday??? It will be in the afternoon over several hours. There should be an announcement in with your judging schedule. No research folks, just Sarah, myself and anyone else we can get to help.
Looking forward to the week! I am not entered for any of the weekend shows, with a six month old puppy.

We've met at a show before, although probably too briefly to remember. Until recently I was owner-handling, and sometimes handling other people's dogs, which didn't leave much time for socializing. I'll reintroduce myself to put a face to the name.
The avatar is AJ, our plain boy, in the foreground. Annie is his big "sister" in the background, and I'd wager that she's wilder than your 6 month old. She's 4 years, going on 4 months.

We will also be there I am very excited. My little girl has not been shown in three months and even though she is 13 months she is also going on 4 months! Attenion span of a 8 week old.

I'll leave it there, and await their report.
Our AJ, on the other hand, had a so-so week. Not great success at the regional shows, but it's tough with that many dogs. He went Reserve to a 4 point major on Saturday after the Regionals. Not too shabby, although we would've prefered the points and the major...obviously. :D
It was a lot of fun. We got to spend some good time with old friends, meet new ones, and just enjoy the week. We couldn't have ordered up better weather. It was a great success.
