Your neighbor shouldn't be upset because their dog was in your yard, and then in your house, and then bit you! If anything, your neighbor should be worried about YOU being upset!

Did you ever figure out how the dogs were getting into your yard exactly? Was it a broken fence? I only ask because I used to work at a dog daycare and I've seen dogs scale fences that were about 7 feet high! Some actually "climb" the fence.

maybe you can get some inexpensive toys and throw them over for the other dogs too play with,i would feel sorry for them having nothing to play with

There is a whole in the back of the fence and they dug out. Every time the neighbor fixes it. She says they dig another one.

Some people just burn you up the way they treat their dogs. Abbie was doing just what she is suppose to. Taking care of mom. We have neighbors sort of like that. I had to finally call animal control because they have a BLACK lab that they tie on the front porch with no water or shade and a short lease. I was afraid the dog would fall and hang himself. It was in the 90s and I know the poor thing was so hot. They think it will stop anyone from going in their house but they didn't think about the dog at all. They are very mean people not only to the dog but also their children. Ok so now I am mad all over again!!!

It happend again! But BF got really bitten.

The fourth we were grilling outside my boyfriends mother came over.We had walked inside so I could show her my new shoes. I heard a heard a horribe fight I sent my boyfriend outside. I thought if Abbie saw me it would be worse. My boyfriend pulled Abbie off the dog. Then it bit him really hard several times the neighbor is standing there screaming I start yelling for her to get her dog out of my yard!My boyfriends arm is bleading badly we take him to the E.R. everything is fine his arm is just really swollen and sore. I went over to talk to her when I got back she said she was calling animal control to go get both of her dogs that they had a taste for blood now.I was like no they dont she was trying to bite Abbie which I am not very happy about but the dog doesnt need to be put down it just needs to stay out of my yard. She said they were moving and were getting rid of the dogs anyway. I hate people who do not take responsibility for there animals! It is a life long commitment. I was talking to my boyfriends mother and every dog should be as spoiled as my baby! I am so mad!

i am so sorry this happened to you and your boyfriend.
i also feel sorry for those poor dogs, and for your Abbie.
we can only hope that the dogs will be adopted from the shelter and find a much better home where they will be loved and cared for as they should be.
