foolicon!!!!

That is how Steve and I feel right now! Ice is the snoopiest, busiest, most teething puppy we have had! We have pulled the following out of his mouth:

Wicker basket
A boot
cardboard from wrapping paper
plastic off of the counter
bottle of baby oil
wrapper from ham out of the trash
a tennis shoe
an ornament off the tree
one of the wisemen from the nativity scene
bell off the tree
socks
tea light
my purse
a present
leash

This was all in about two hours time so I am sure there is more! Plus this afternoon he got out of his kennel, ate half a box of treats then proceeded to shred the box, tore through the trash, busted a ceramic vase, pulled clean laundry off the dryer and knocked over the container of dog food with about 20 lbs of food in it and then fell asleep in it! That was a sight!!
At least I know how I will work off those excess pounds after the holidays...from chasing the little man all over the house!!

Ah, I remember those days. Boxer puppies can be worse than children at times ;). Hang in there, just count to 10 everytime you find something else he destroyed or got into ;).

I know the feeling

Last night Gracie our youngest, was trying to find her burried bone in the couch, which by the way George found earlier, and ripped open the cushions on the couch, trying to find her buried bone. The foam rubber in the sofa didn't agree with her and she came running in, the bed room where we were, rubbing her head on everything. She had the hives. We gave her some medicine and everything is fine now except the sofa is never going to be the same.

I know how you're feeling! But double that :) i had the brilliant idea to get Zoe 5 months after I got Harley so they are both at that stage - but I wouldn't have it any other way :D

Boxer Pal
Fritzi ate her first couch at 9 months....she has a "thing" for plastic and must chew every plastic hanger in the house. It does get easier - about 3 yrs old - she finally had calmed down. I wouldn't trade Fritzi for anything!

Sounds like an average day for Miss Hannah...she's one of a kind my girl!

Good luck with Ice...hope he grows out of it quick
P.S Hannah has just turned one and is STILL stealing things everyday

It's nice to know that we all share the same mishaps! Although we have not had a couch tore up yet! (I am knocking on wood as we speak!)
I love 'em all and half the time I am laughing as I chase him down to grab yet another "item" from his mouth. I always know he is up to something when I see a flash of white zoom past me out of the corner of my eye!

That is so true, you know for such smart dogs they sure do give themselves away when they've been bad. I could always tell when Brighid had done something wrong before I even looked around the house.

Hang in there smashicon
We used the movie quote "this is NOT your room" a million times with Hammer! It didn't work, they are all his rooms! The joys of owning a boxer puppy can be measured by the pile of stuff removed from their little mouths!
