in a few days we are planning to make a trip by car.
it is going to be a 7 1/2 hours trip. 1 1/2 hours in a boat and almost 6 hours by car..
keeroff doesnt have any problems with the car. he is always just fine.
but i wanted to know....
he has to be foodless during the trip? he has to be foodless even before starting the trip?
we will have stops all the time for his psysical needs(i dont know the word in english..)

We took our boxers on a trip from Arizona to Pennsylvania, roughly 35 hours by car. We stopped every 2-3 hours to stretch and walk the dogs. We tried to keep them on their regular feeding schedule and made sure they had water all the time. We used a portable water dish. They did very well and slept most of the time. Ours love the car anyway, so if was a pretty easy trip. Just make sure you bring along their health records and vaccination records if you plan on staying in hotels, ect. Not sure about other countries, but it is a good thing to have along when you travel. We also put together a pet first aid kit just in case.

I would also reccommend keeping your Keeroff on regular feeding schedule especially when traveling. Some dogs get nausea or vomiting because their stomach is empty.

I hope you have a safe trip. cheers-amyb

Super Boxer
We had an 8.5 hr (well normally 6hr but w/ Pimp ) car trip to canada. I tried to keep him on his regular schedule with feeding and he did great. He peed and pooed at th4e same time he did everyday so I knew when we would have to make stops.
