So the topic was brought up to me in anouther discussion room as to why should pet owners who have boxer mixs be let onto a boxer forum. I wanted to get opinions outside that circle and see what everyone thought. I am really not for sure how this forum feels about letting people who have boxer mixs participate in this forum?.......So how do you feel?. Is it ok for some one to join this forum who has a boxer mix or do you think they need to find a forum that is more active around mutes?..

I personaly think if it acts like a boxer and resenmbles a boxer its ok. They may have the same experinces as the rest of us and why shouldn't they participate . They will learn alot from goup discussions and they inturn can pass that knowledge on to others.

I believe there are many members whose only dog is a mixed breed. In fact, I'm sure there are members who don't have a dog with any Boxer in their blood.

While this site is dedicated to Boxers, and centers around discussions about them, you will find there are forums to discuss many things that aren't Boxer related, including other pets that are neither Boxers nor dogs for that matter.

I believe the only "requirement" in that regard is an affection for the breed, and a willingness to abide by the rules of Boxerworld.

I think if you are a boxer lover, even if you don't even own a dog yourself but your in love with your neigbor's boxer, it's ok to be on this discussion group! :D

It's like if people who has a boxer without papers couldn't be a member!

I was on a rat forum long before having a rat, because I needed to know more about them (but it's dangerous, it's obivious that if you hang around with boxer/rat lovers, you will end with a boxer/rat... :D)

If it helps

I think that anyone who own's a dog should be allowed to participate in this site! It is very informative and when you do a seach on google on puppy nutrition/behavior/training ect... this site is always on the first page of your search...

I say live and let live... If this site can help a loving dog owner with questions that they have or support that they need then who are we (boxer lovers) to discriminate?

All Should Be Welcome on the forums.

I think everyone should be allowed to join in on discussions of thier puppy/dog and other family pets. There are many similarities in most dogs no matter what the breed and the more we can learn of their behaviours and traits the better.

I think we're all just a bunch of animal lovers, in general. We may have a special affection for Boxers, but I also have my Rottie, whom I love with all my heart. My father-in-law told me years ago "Never trust a person that doesn't like animals", and by keeping that in the back of my mind when meeting new people with my babies, it turns out he was right! I say "Welcome to all animal lovers!" :)
