A new hello from the UK

Hello fellow boxer lovers,

My name is Kim and like new member Susan this is all new to me. I've never been to a chat room or joined anything like this before so please also bear with me. I'm not even sure if I've worked out how to post a message yet, guess if your reading this I have !!

I have a lovely 3 year old male called Jake. He's my first boxer, our last dog was a german shepherd. Jake's been hard work and skated on very thin ice with us in the past but we're through the worst with his naughtiness (I hope) and wouldn't be without him. He's loved dearly.

We're going through some skin allergies with him at present so I'll be going back to read up on those pages.

Oh by the way I feel that I'm in a minority being from the UK and not the USA, hope I still get replies from across the water.

Hi Kim, we have alot in common as we both have three year old boxers ( I also have a pup) and both our old dogs were German Shepherds. We lost Gemma at 11 years old. Where in UK are you? We're in Staffordshire.

Welcome, it is a pleasure to have you here with us. I have seen a few people from the UK post here so you're not alone. But in any case you are still very welcomed and we will do our best to be here for you in any way that we can. I look forward to hearing all about your furbabies adventures.

Hello Kim, welcome to you and Jake, there are quite a few of you from the U.K. so don't feel left out of anything. It doesn't matter where you are from on the Boxer Board, we all belong to the 'Boxer world'. We all think, live, and talk Boxer talk, and anything else that we think will be of interest to the other readers.
We have Sergeant, he will be 7 years in October, he is a light brindle with chevron stripes on his back, hence the name. He suffers from a little arthritis in his hind legs at the moment. He is our third Boxer and we wouldn't have any other breed now. They take a bit of getting used to, being so lively, but it is worth every minute of mischief when they come to you and give you a big slobbery kiss :D
Gunther & I are coming over to the south of England and to Germany next month as I am from Kent and Gunther is from Germany. (with a name like Gunther where else would he be from?) When we are over 'the pond' we are always on the lookout for Boxers, we usually manage to see a few.
Any chance of seeing a pic of Jake soon? It is nice to see other Boxers.

Hi everyone,

Wow I can't believe how many of you took the time to reply to me. Thanks everyone, I afraid I can't show you any pics of Jake as I don't have a digital camera or a scanner yet. Jake is a brindle with four white paws and very handsome !!

Muttersley we're in Somerset, nice to hear from you.:)

Helene make sure you bring your umbrella to the UK, it's hardly stopped raining all summer !!:(

Well I better not ramble on anymore for now, have tried to go into chat a couple of times but couldn't get in. I will keep on trying.

Boomer, Jake says he'll share his treats with him should they ever meet up !!

Jake sends sloppy kisses to all his new friends and says thanks for getting in touch
