It's a close up picture of Zeus's partial head.

yep...i took that two Marches ago when we were coming back from surfside beach. robby, zeus, and i went on a weekend trip to the beach on my birthday. we camped out there at surfside and drove all the way up the coast to crystal beach. we were at the galveston ferry when i took it.
i was asking zeus to pose for me and he came up to my camera phone to sniff it and that is what i snapped.

 Ikaika is the same way! I was trying to leave the apt before the rain came down, but when I saw Ikaika leave the bed and go into my bathroom, I knew the rain/THUNDER was here. Fraidy Cats!

Ikaika, that big, burly dog that acts so tough whenever he hears a noise outside?!? lol...

Ahhhh, my poor baby boy. He was tramatized when he was younger. I was staying with my friend in Humble at the time. They used to stay outside during the day (he was only like 3 months). Well it poured really bad one day and the mommy and daddy (doggy ones ;) ) were inside the shed, but the two remaining pups (Ikaika and Missy) went under the shed instead of INSIDE the shed. They got trapped. So like paranoid mommies...we dug them out and had to put their snouts under the water for a second or two to free them. The water was rising and we had to do something. Since then...he doesn't like it when it rains. :(

My poor honey...he has issues.

Love the Avatar!

Since I'm a budding photographer, I love the creativity! I hope to add something like that to mine. I have a super-cute picture of her "other" end, but I'm not sure what people would think...Maybe I'll try it.

Love yours, though!

It just happened! the best thing about this picture camera though, is that you can change the color of it. so i have a panoramic collage of three of these, one sepia color, one normal color, and one black and white. it's amazing what you can do with even just a camera phone nowadays!!

Ikaika is so misunderstood. I know I've mentioned it before...but I think I should type out his life story so maybe ignorant people around the complex will understand his (re)actions better.

Well, if you look in my post "Gas and ceiling fans" you'll know just how Beau feels about thunder. I woke up yesterday morning to Beau sitting on me, too. I try to ignore him so that he's not even more afraid, but I couldn't help it yesterday. I HAD to tell him to get off or I would've peed in my pants. So he snuggled up as close as possible. When I got in the shower, he stayed on the bath rug the entire time. He was stuck to me like glue until I had to put him in his crate when I left :( I felt bad but I had to work!

yeah...when i left for work this morning i decided to let him stay in the house. i usually close off the doggie door to the house and he has free roam in the garage and back yard, but being that it still looked ugly outside, i let him stay in. i'm sure my boyfriend won't be too happy becuase i know he'll have snuggled up on our bed all day. oh well...gotta let the critter have his safe haven.
