so i woke up at about 6 oclock this morning to the sound of crashing thunder and a heavy ball of fur on my legs. usually, zeus will spread out on the couches in the living room or in his bed on the floor next to my side of the bed, but not today.
when i woke up, i realized i couldn't move; i was literally pinned to the bed with zeus and BF next to me. actually it was more like a patti-sandwich. i got up, went to the rest room and when i had come back, zeus had moved into my warm spot in the bed. he didn't move, just opened his eyes to look at me like he was saying "don't even think about it, sister!!!"
So i CRAWLED between the two of them and was able to sneak another hour of sleep (even with the thunder in the background). it was so powerful i thought our windows were going to shatter. zeus DOES NOT like thunder. BF normally doesn't like zeus getting into bed with us, but he let this one pass this time. he knows zeus is a big fraidy cat.

Ikaika is the same way! I was trying to leave the apt before the rain came down, but when I saw Ikaika leave the bed and go into my bathroom, I knew the rain/THUNDER was here. Fraidy Cats!
