Boxer Booster
Soooo....I took Dutch to the vet this morning and we just happened to get to see the lead Veterinarian, who also loves and owns boxers.....he says that he believes it to be a soft palette issue. He listened to Dutch's heart and lung sounds, and found that they were clear and healthy, he says he can hear a slight "rasp" in his upper throat, which he says he would lead him in the direction of the soft palette. He says he has seen it before in other short nosed breeds, and that when Dutch is in to be neutered, he will take a peek down his throat...if his suspicions are true, he will trim back his soft palette to help him breath easier. So, I guess we will see what time tells us.
Thank you again for all of your advice and support......I am still going to keep up with the humidifier, and check closely into his food....eventually I would like to get him onto Acana anyways, so it may speed up that process.
