A great picker !!!

Hi to all,

My young boxer, about 6 months old, always like to pick up and chew things when I bring her around on road. She loves to do that even I try to scold her and sometime do punish her in the act. Is this common among puppy? or this behavior will disappear when adult? I hope so ... I tried to bring her on walk since a month ago, but she still 'too exciting' to see all the objects that appear beside her and catch them with her mouth! I'm quite unpleasent with her behavior, anyone could give some views? thanks in advance! :confused:

It probably won't disappear unless you teach her to leave things alone. You need to teach her the 'leave it' command. When ever you see something that she might be interested in, say "leave it" and distract her will a yummy smelling treat. She will soon realize that you have much more interesting things.
