Boxer Pal
Hello all, I recently got a boxer, about a month ago
She is a year old and is pretty awesome.
However there are a few issues i need to get fixed.
1, Chewing, she will chew on and eat anything, she throws up all the time, i keep things out of the way most of the time but i do have a 3 year old and between them, im losing my mind
she has plenty of bones, always getting new ones, plenty of chew toys. kinda not sure what to do here.. hopefully she will grow out of it?
2. Getting her to not play so rough, or at least listen to a command that gets her to stop, shes not really good on the come command, working on that, She does get outside a few times a day for off the leash play and runs up and down hills and after balls, anyway to teach her to fetch?
i end up going down the hill to bring it back but she gets loads of exercise and walks.
3. the main one is getting her to listen to the come command, when she does listen i do give her a treat and praise, i really need her to respond to this as we have off the leash play outside and i live in a place with close neighbors although no major roads and she never goes far anyhow.
sorry if thats alot, any help is appreciated
also thinking about getting her into a training class at petsmart...

) and pretty much go wild until they brought it to me and dropped it, then praise them and pet them like crazy. Doing it enough eventually cause Sadie to catch on and she started bringing the ball back to me. If anything more interesting goes by though while she is chasing the ball (i.e. a bike for my girl with her herding instincts) she won't go get it but overall fetch has become a success.
