A Call to Boxer Lovers in MD DC VA areas

Bella and I will be out of town on the 10th of July:( How about July 17th or 24th?

Murphy's Mom, I would be concerned about bringing such a young pup to the dog park. I am not sure of the rules there (Quiet Waters) but I think the rule of thumb for bringing a fur baby to the dog park is after 6 months of age. Last time we went to Quiet Waters Dog Park there must have been at least 50 dogs in the "Big Dog" area. It was quite overwhelming for Bella. Bella even got knocked over by two big boxers who were playing and she is 2 years old! She wasn't hurt or anything. There were also two great danes there also bounding around. I had to watch out for them! Just a thought. Maybe you could bring Murphy and just hold him?

The 10th does not work for us either but both the 17th and the 24th would be great. We have a 10 month old boxer girl that would love to play with with everyone!

Let's make a play day for the 17th of July at Quiet Waters Dog Park in Annapolis! Say about 0900 or 1000, just so it doesn't get too hot for out babies. Also Quiet Waters has plenty of drinking water for the dogs and spare poo bags, toys are abundant as well. It is a little walk to the beach which is small and if the surf is not too rough, it could be a good time to swim! Hope to see many, many boxers there! Bella will be wearing a pink and green striped collar!

Thanks Balla's Mom for the fore warning. He is a litle guy 12 lbs yesterday at the Vet. Which is great, he has more than doubled in size since I got him. Unfortuneately, the breeder was not caring for this little guy properly. Our Vet indicated that maybe he was not weaned properly or for that matter too early. I may just stop by and meet everyone. I would hate for him to get pummled...YIKES! Heart attack for me and him.

I will keep up on the posts, so far I see the 17th. Hope to meet you all soon!

This will be our first time attending a Boxer Bash- but count us in. We have a 1 year old white boxer boy named Caesar- (he is deaf). Everyone that meets him falls in love with him. We look forward to meeting everyone and their babies on the 17th.

We will definately try to make it on the 17th!! I have something in the afternoon, so 9 am would be great. We've never been to Quiet Waters, so I'm excited to see how Laila will do - especially with other boxers. She only plays with a bullmastiff now & has already taught her how to use her paws!

Dang... I missed it to. How was it? Did everyone have a good time? I would love to go to the next one you all plan. You guys can PM me when it comes back up. I have back surgery in 3 weeks so maybe one in another 6 months or so. (Or I guess when it gets warm again ) Cypress would love it!

It Was Fun

There were only a few boxers there but I think everyone had fun. It was our first time at the dog park and we really enjoyed it. Hope to do it again soon!
