Great turnout!
I am glad so many people came out! That was a wonderful first event for us this year...
I used a disposable camera to take as many pictures as I could, and I will get it developed tomorrow sometime. Hopefully I got at least one of every dog there. I think there were about 20 or so, maybe more. None of them stood still long enough for me to count.
It was great meeting everyone, and I was glad to talk to a few people for a while. Sadly, Sadie got grouchy after about an hour and a half, so we left. She started snipping at every dog that ran with her, etc.
April 3 at the White Plains Dog Park in Waldorf for the next bash. I guess we will plan for noon again. It is a little smaller than Annapolis, but it still has two fenced in areas and water for the dogs. One plus is that it has bags and recepticals for dog waste and more benches. I will post directions to help out everyone when the time gets closer!

Hello! What fun!!!
Hello! Saturday was a wonderful experience! It was our first boxer bash ever!! I took some photos and plan to post them somehow in the next two weeks!! (have to get the hubbie to do it - so whenever I can grab him!!). Everybody's boxers were so handsome/pretty! What a range!! Each one was so unique!!! Bella had a blast!!! Hope to do it again soon! Take care and check back for photos. Not sure yet how I will post them- I will let you know on this chain how to access them. I dont think I met everyone either......maybe next time!

The 2004 MD DC VA BOXERBASH event was such a hit for those who made it.
Remember I said we couldn't make it due to another commitment? Well... It was for a wedding of a son of a very close family friend.....
Guess what? The Groom called off the wedding earlier in the week but the Bride and her family still went on with the wedding plans hoping that he would have a change of mind & heart.
Needless to say everyone wasn't notified. The Brides' side of the Hall was filled and the Grooms side wasn't even 1/3 filled. I have heard of this type of thing happening and have seen stories like this on TV but have never experience it myself.
I would have much rather been with you guys... Had to share.

Zsara, I've never heard of anything like that ever happening! I bet it was a truly unusual event. I'm guessing by what you said that he did have a change of heart and went on with it. Jeez, could you imagine being the bride?! Truly unbelievable! With all that money spent, I guess it made since for them to keep it on schedule, I guess. I hope your friend's son is happy.

Nope no Happy Ending for this story
When we left we had had invested over 45 mins waiting.... We contacted the Mom of the Groom on the way back home and they stated the wedding had been called off earlier and the groom had tried to contact everyone he had invited. Indicating he was not ready to marry. (My brother was told but didn't pass the wordto me) The Bride knew too but she was apparently holding out/praying for a different ending....................I don't believe she told anyone on her side....

Hello! I have submited photos from the boxer bash on March 20th in Annap. MD. I hope I did it correct! Last time they were very small!! They are listed under- Photographs--then Boxer Bashes--then you can (I guess) search under my name? "Guerriere". See if that works- I am unable to check because they are still "pending approval". I know I did not get everybody's dogs! Sorry! I was so focused on Bella! It didnt occur to me until later that I could put them on line (first bash- I was over stimulated and a bit overwhelmed with ALL THE DOGS)..it was nuts! But great fun! I can not wait to do it again!! Keep trying! It takes me a while to get photos loaded. I actually send them to work (which makes them smaller) and then try to load them on Boxerworld! Good Luck! Can't wait to see the pics. I should have brought my camera too:(
