A Call to Boxer Lovers in MD DC VA areas

Just wanted to say Hi & that Laila & I would love to come to the next boxer bash, especially if it's in Annapolis, as that's close to us. The spring would be great, because she will be older then. I think she's too young for the dog park now.

Also, today we went to the PetSmart in Annapolis at about 12:30 & there were alot of other boxers there to play with in the training ring. They weren't training at the time, but the one instructor told me to bring Laila up at that time & there would be other boxers to play with. She is only 13 weeks & thought she was bigger than the other boxers there.

i'm not sure when the next "official" boxer bash is, but if you wanted to just have an informal meetup, i go Lincoln Park in Capitol Hill on weekends. We could get together and see if our dogs get along. Blue's pretty submissive (if a dog gets agressive she just runs away), but she likes to roughouse.

Bella and I are in Frederick. We would definately be interested in an informal meeting in a few weeks. Hopefully it will get a little warmer...

i only check bw.com once or twice a week if we could plan ahead of time that would be great.

you should have seen the dogs sloshing around in the snow at lincoln park these last few days it was great!

Bash sounds GREAT

Count me in when you pick a place and a day! We live in Frederick MD...currently two boxers (fawn, 8 and white, 8 months) BUT sorry to say our oldest is dying of prostate cancer and has limited time!! On the lighter side- a bash sounds cool!! I love to see other boxers!!!

Guerriere so sorry to hear about your oldest boxer! That must be so hard. Sounds like a little boxer bash might do you some good!!

How about a getting together Saturday February 21st at noon.
I know of a fenced dogpark in DC, some in VA and there are several big parks if everybody is ok with no fences. Blue's mom- I've never been to Lincoln park, would it work?

Hello! Feb 21 is not good for me- I will be out of town that weekend! You must have a very well trained boxer to have them off the leash?....or would you just keep the dog on the leash and ment there was just no fences? Wow! My little girl would never be seen again! Keep me in mind if you plan a boxer bash in the DC, north VA, MD area!!

How about the next weekend, the 28th?

She's ok off leash if it's a big park and there are other dogs to keep her attention. We can go somewhere fenced so we don't have to worry about them. It always makes me a little nervous.
