Oh My Goodness What a GORGEOUS DAY!!!!!
Chvani my 25-year old daughter went to Quiet Waters (her first time) to assist me with the 2 dogs since my husband had to check on his Mom. When we arrived it was a picture perfect day. Blade was taken into the park 1st as he is an old pro at this "dogpark" stuff.
Naiya on the other hand got out of my truck barking at every dog she saw. I was alittle leary at first so I took my time standing by the fence letting her watch the activities inside the large dogpark area. Then we entered the fenced in area. At this time there was approx. 10 dogs of all sizes doing their thing. I took Naiya still on lead to the bench to sit for a while. The worst thing I think a person could do is to bring a dog with aggressive tendencies into a situation where another dog or human can get injured.
If you guys remember that happened to Blade at the dogbeach last year.....
Boy was I nervous. I have had Naiya my 14 month old adopted female for less than 6 months. She is fine with Blade and my family but acts out when she sees any other animals......
So when the park kinda cleared out I took a deep breath and let her loose. She just ran, ran ran and began to play with Blade and others dogs. Then I was concerned that she and Blade might team up on a playful pup but that didn't happen either.

She romped the entire time we were there! A perfect Lady!!!!
So we packed up and went to the dog beach. By the evening time 3 or so there musta been 30 dogs in the park of all breeds...(7 boxers) and about 20 at the dogbeach. There were at least 3 brindle, 1 white and 2 fawn boxers there at the time. Naiya was too funny when we all took to the water. Blade has been to the beach serveral times and enjoyed the cooling waters. Naiya looked like a child the first time at the beach like "What is all this water stuff about???"Mommy
But after alittle coaching, she too dog peddled out to Ma Ma .
Sorry you guys missed a beautiful day at Quiet Waters Park. I will see if my digtal camera worked and post my pictures....

:D
Perhaps we can try again in the Fall
