OMG! I am soooo sad I missed Amy and Baxter! We must have just missed you as we were right ahead of Sube Ru's Mom when we left.
What an incredible day! My Dayla was such a good girl, didnt cause any fights and had a blast playing with all the dogs. Hook loved Peggy's daughter the most I think!
We had a blast...I am off to training for the day and wont be getting online again...but I wanted to tell you all that I posted SOME of the pictures...in my gallery!

P's Poppa I am sorry we missed you but...
My husband agreed came along as long as we left in time for the Maryland basketball game.... Some pictures have already been posted. I think there must have been 50 dogs running around the park on that beautiful Palm Sunday. Maybe next time we can plan future Boxerbashes visiting different area dog parks....What do you think guys? That way we can alternate on the distances traveled.

Shannon!!!!!!!!! What great pictures! You're awesome.
It was a great day! Weather was perfect. Not too hot, not to cold. Perfect. What a very well behaved group of boxers we have. I know a few people had concerns about how their boxers may act...but all had perfect manners.
Megan had a great time playing with Hook. She definatly singled him out. I think she was impressed that he actually plays frisby! He obeys commands so well. When she told him to sit, he would sit. When she said jump, he jumped and when she said drop it you could tell he wanted to by the way his teeth started jittering.

I am so excited i can not wait to develop my film. I want to see the pics we took of the boxer bash, we took 2 rolls of film so we should have gotten some great pics. I am going to have RITz put them on Disk so i can download them
I can not begin to tell everyone the great time i had. Subi and Bailey had a BALL!!! and Subi did so well, she was a little sore but she seems fine today
I can not WAIT till the next boxer bash!!!

I just wanted to say that I enjoyed meeting those that I had a chance to meet - Zsara, Heather and Aimee and their respective significant others/hubbies. I was still feeling under the weather and didn't want to mingle to closely with everyone but had looked forward so much to coming that Howard couldn't turn me down when I asked him to load up the boys and the truck and my son even came to help me - so we came for a little bit. Shay unfortunately still working on some issues and had to sit out, but Max and Leo had a blast at their very first dog park trip. We are making extra special time for Shay and working with him so he will be ready for the next bash when we have it. BUT he walks so nicely now with his halter that I had a blast just out there walking him around the library and the other park so he was still a part of....

He wasn't quite ready to socialize with the other animals, but we understood and thought he was a handsome dog. Yes it was a nice event. I am sorry about the bad traffic too as I got there a half hour late coming from Fort Washington. Darn it if the other side wasn't backed up when we left to go back home.:mad:
Can't wait for them to build the new bridge caUSE THERE IS ALWAYS SOME Drama connected with it. Aimee, sorry we missed you too, maybe we will see you guys that arrived after we left next time.

READY TO PLAN ANOTHER
After the awesome turn out AND all the fun I am ready to plan another
this time we should do a cookout, who has a BIG yard- fenced in, and willing to have 20 or so boxers???
i would say me but i think 20 boxers would get a little crowded on my .15 acre lot haha

WOW wouldn't that be something....it would have to be someone who lives on a farm.... I not only don't live on a farm but my backyard isn't even fenced in. But I have to admit the idea is interesting. A dogpark with food sounds scary after I was abused by a pesky husky and a brute of a basset hound when I pulled my doggie treats out...
So let us know of any other ideas for the next BASH!!! Hey maybe someone who has a doggie pool for a boxer pool party.... (just kidding

(just kidding First off, I want to that Zsara for an outstanding job of coodinating this boxer bash. I'm sorry we missed it but it sounds like everyone had a great time and that's what counts. I wish we could host the next boxer bash but none of our 5 acres is fenced in. It would be a lot of fun to find some place that we would be just boxer families, etc. so we could cook out. Everyone keep your eyes and ears open for a suitable location.
