A Boxer's Tail

Are You Willing To Consider An Undocked Tail Boxer?

  • Yes, I would gladly adopt or rescue an undocked boxer puppy or adult. Boxer tails are fun!

  • Yes, but I think I still prefer the tail to be docked. I got used to them like that.

  • Maybe I would make an exception and try it once.

  • I would not consider adopting an undocked puppy, but I would look the other way to rescue.

  • I would not consider adopting or rescuing an undocked boxer. If it has a tail, it's not a boxer!

Zoe has an undocked tail and I love it. It can hurt like heck, and we are careful so she doesn't hurt it. But I love that my girl is natural (no docked, no cropped). Plus she has a little itty bitty white tip to her tail. So cute!

I am of the personal opinion that ears, tails, dewclaws, should not be cut off any dog unless it's for a medical reason. But that's just me! :)

I absolutely LOVE Charlie's nubbin and I prefer the nubbin, but I would never be against having a boxer with its tail, its still a boxer :)

Also, I think dew claws being removed is a good thing, better than having them rip them off later. Although I know dogs that have dew claws that haven't had an issue, but also dogs who have.

Cropping ears, I do not like. I would not refuse a dog with cropped ears, but it does not do the dog any good.
