A Beagle-Boxer?

My husband brought home a beagle pup from the county shelter a few weeks ago. She has a "thing" for Mikey my boxer. First, she just wanted to take his toys and treats from him. Now she is starting to act like him. Everyday I have the Beagle-Boxer burnout when they run through the house at top speed. Bella, the beagle, is starting to "box" like Mikey does and when I rub Mikey's tummy he grunts like a pig(I call them his "happy grunts") well now Bella does that too. It's so cute to see her learn from him. It's almost like I have a cross breed Beagle-Boxer.

Jade has taught my golden retriever how to box and it's so funny watching my golden at 75 lbs try and get up on her back legs to box, she not close to being as agile as Jade so it can be quite humorous.

My rotti is starting to mock Tyson as well. He's started beaning when I get home, boxes w/ Tyson, and does boxer burns w/ him!

My dad has a older beagle and when I first brought Ali out as a puppy I didn't know how he would handle him and all his energy. To my suprise they got along great and have become great buds! Glad to hear you babies get along as good as mine do

I thought it was just our dog!! We brought home Sasha a few weeks ago. She's an almost 5 month old black Chow Chow. She is the sweetest little ball of fluff!! Anyway, I worried about how Otis and Sasha would play together. Otis is 65 lbs and Sasha is 25 lbs. I shouldn't have wasted my time worrying! Sasha now acts just like Otis. She will wiggle her butt and her tail goes a mile a minute when Daddy comes home while Otis beans like crazy.

Then when they play, they will box. I just have to step in when it gets too rough.

It's hysterical to watch!

Yep, the same thing has happened to our Jack Russell ! She acts like a boxer (boxing & woo-woo'ing) and sometimes Keno even trys to act like her ! It's funny because here he is 50 lbs and he trys jumping all around like he only weighs 15 lbs ! I swear he thinks he's as little as a J.R. They are both little copy-cats..trying to act like one another !! It's hilarious !!!
