Boxer Pal
My Duke is 7 months old and we have had him for 1 month now. Duke is a pretty good puppy and has a few things to work on. The biggest issue at hand is he several times a week will pee in the house. He makes it through the night 8 - 9 hours no problem. Sometimes he will go to the door and we praise him for that. Other times he just stops what he is doing and pees. This morning he pooped for the first time in the house in 3 weeks. He was chasing his tail and just stopped, didn't even make an attempt to go to the door, just went. I don't know what to do to correct this. We have another 7 month pup (GS Mix) and he is 100% housebroken. We can leave him unattended with no problems and if he has to go he lets us know by going to the door and moving the blinds if we don't notice. I let them both out at the same time and praise Duke for going outside. I know two different dogs, two different minds. But...I don't know what else to do. I don't know his background or how he was trained the first 6 months. It has nothing to do with sniffing around and then going or even going in the same spot. If he has to go, he goes. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Super Boxer
I would suggest that you basically start from square one with him. Let him out every half hour to hour, right after he gets up from naps, after he eats or drinks, ect..until he gets trained.

You have had your other puppy for awhile it sounds like but you have only had him for a month. You guys are just getting use to each other, getting into a rountine and everything. Your other puppy knows the rountine. Let Duke out more often, make sure you are going out there with him and reward him like crazy.

Good luck!
