9 week old puppy humping?

Zeb was playing with one of the furry toys earlier (it's probably bigger than him, ) and started humping it. I know they hump through dominance not just sexual so do you think he was just practicing the humping motion, he seems a little young to be humping because of dominance or sexual?

we have a female chihuahua and yorkie mix that has humped since the day we got her (8 weeks) and tyson will only hump me, no one else, they say its a sign of affection but when they do it with toys i just think they are excited and cant contain themselves

Elvis went through the 'humping stage' when he was a kiddo always to my teddy on the bed!

I agree it is too young to be a dominance thing, I would say just practicing!

I think it's in excitement too, it was so funny as he was going at it so fast unlike Lola who does it so slowly and methodical
