8 wks old and a little demon

Good Morning
Well we finally got our little guy and boy has he been a surprise. Right off the bat he tried to be the alfa to our 9 yr old boyby trying to sit on his head, started barking in protest when we tell him no, humping my arm and even lifting his leg outside at potty time. Is this normal for this age?

Sounds pretty normal to me! Your older boy will put him in his place when he gets tired of it. And you just have to be firm (but in a positive manner) with him to let him know what is acceptable and what is not. Good luck, they're just like human children...just need some guidance and lots of patience.

Yep. There are days when Bodie is such a sweet little puppy and then it seems like weeks when he is a little pain in the rear. Your pup still has his "puppy license" because he is so young older dogs will tolerate more from him than they will in a few months. The older dog will put him in his place when the older dog gets tired of the pup. Dogs are great at teaching puppies manners.
