I would look into some indestrutable brainy toys.
My boy Tucker is about 10 months old. He's never been one to be too destructive, but when he is with me, he is fine. When he is left alone, he has to be crated. He gets plenty of exercise and goes to my sisters house for "doggy daycare" a few days a week when i go to school and work to play with her four kids and her three boxers. At our house I have two boxers (Annie and Tucker) and my uncle has three boxers. That doesnt make the destruction is less. When not being watched Tucker has ate my uncles couch, the kids' toys, my glasses, heaters, wires to phone chargers, electric heaters, phone lines, computer supply packs, and on and on and on. He also knows how to open doors. Screen doors, house doors, even the outside front and back doors! so needless to say he HAS to be crated when not watched. He started to get destructive on his kennel chewing the wires, bending the door and the sides, and can get out. I had to strap tie all around his kennel where it folds and i have to keep moutian climbing hooks (3) on his crate door to keep him in.
I bought him a kong, he loves it. I whip together some peanut butter and yogurt and stuff and freeze it. It keeps his brain occupied . I also bought toys like the tug a jug, and maze balls and bounce squeeze bone that you put small treats (i use totw dog food) in and he has to figure out how to get it out. It keeps him content and tiers his mind as well as body.

! Just like a skin kid, if it's quiet, there's trouble around the corner! Brodie hasn't ruined anything yet (other than destroying one cheap squeaky toy sent with him from the breeder), but has an affinity for computer cables and the bedskirt of our bed. DH caught him last night running across the room with his small I-Pod and charger in his mouth that he'd pulled out of the socket. Luckily, he'd just gotten it and hadn't damaged it - lesson learned: don't plug it in at Brodie height!
