Completely Boxer Crazy
Ginger is 16 months now. From about 8 months to about 14 months she was a BRAT. Jumping on people, grabbing things and running away with them, chewing things she shouldn't. We tried to be consistent with her and just in the last couple months she has gotten much better. I know it's hard but patience and consistency are the keys.

Thank you so much for all your advice!

To be honest i thought i was the only one going through this and that id gone terribly wrong with her somehow!
It doesn't seem so bad now i know its just a phase she's going through, (it never accured to me she was being a typical teenager!) and all of your advice is really appreciated.

I defently think she could benefit a refresher course, and i have to admitt i haven't been as consistant with the treats as i use to, as i was trying to fade them out, so i think "going back to basics" and "nothing for free" will defently help matters! thanks again!

Arrogant girl

Don't worry you'll get your girl back! She is just going through the rebellious teenage yrs. Just have plenty of patience, and repeat the commands until she does do it.

Above all, always make training fun!! If, its fun it will be easy to want to play, get it? Always train in a positive, fun way,if you get frustrated with her then stop....until you are in a better mood.

Maybe finding another motivation may work. Some prefer food, others toys. And sometimes they switch back and forth. Remember keep it fun.

When going on walks bring your training tools....squeaky toy, food treat, etc. when she is just about to jump up on someone....squeak the toy, to get her attention she will focus on you!

Hope this helps!
