8 mo F boxer needs a new home DFW-TX

Hello-

Our family is searching for a loving home for our 8 month old boxer. Her name is Abby. She is a brindle and up to date on all of her shots with a clean bill of health. Due to circumstances beyond our control we can't keep her where we live. She is very active and needs the right home to give her the time and individual care she deserves. My mom is willing to take her, but she lives in Washington state. Due to weather restrictions for boxers on airlines, it has been too hot here, to ship her. This weekend is our deadline to find a home and any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried Continental or United airlines?? My breeder lives in Salt Lake City, UT and she shipped a couple of puppies, one to TX and one to FL and they didn't have any restrictions for shipping them. She is shipping a show puppy to NY in a couple weeks by plane as well. I know she uses Continental or United because the other airlines have heat restrictions. She said they are good with shipping the pups. Anyway, just thought you could try them if you wanted to try to get her to your mom in Seattle.

My husband and I have been looking for a second boxer. My husband is active military which leaves me and Hagen (our boxer) home alone a lot. Hagen is a year old and is in need of a play mate. Yes, Abby found a great home. Hagensmom adopted her and she is doing great. She has a big fenced yard, a big brother to play with and a happy family.I am very pleased with the people who have her. Thanks for your help and interest.

That's wonderful news! I've been thinking about her and am glad she found a good forever home and that your husband won't get in trouble for her getting out anymore. I totally understand why you couldn't keep her. I'm a military brat who used to get in trouble when my mom's boss gave her a "talk to" about my speeding tickets. :( Not fun for her...or me! God bless you and your family for your service to and sacrifices for our country!
