Asia's Folks

Boxer Pal
Hello. My wife and I recently purchased a female boxer puppy. After 3 months we have realized that with our 2 year old daughter, we do not have the time or effort to properly train this dog. She is up to date with all her shots. You can e-mail for a recent picture. edited by moderator

She is a beautiful dog. I am already in the process of adopting another boxer through a rescue group in my area, or I would consider yours. You might consider contacting a boxer rescue group in your area to see if they can help.

Here is a link that should help you find a rescue in your area. Good luck!

It's a shame that you have to get rid of her. It sounds like you have your hands full, but I'm not sure why you didn't consider all of that before you got her. Having a puppy and a two year old is really like having two kids. They are a lot of work. Trust me, I know, and I only have one dog.

I hope Asia finds a good home and gets the training and attention she deserves. Good luck to all of you.

Sorry that you have to get rid of your pup. That's really sad for all involved.

I have a 9 month old son and a 2 year old daughter with a 12 week old boxer and a 6 month old boxer. I do know that it is very time consuming! (but I love every minute of it!)

I wish Asia the absolute best!

I wish Asia the best and hope she finds a great forever home. She is stunning. If I was in the States....

Do you have a contract with the breeder? Responsible breeders require return of the pup/dog if you can't keep her. If you do not have a contract with the breeder, then I would recommend contacting your closest Boxer Rescue group and surrendar her to them. They will make sure the home she goes into has been properly screened. (You would probably be surprised how many time we have received dogs into rescue that have already gone thru 3-5 homes).

Please follow Sabrina Jay's advice and contact the breeder (first) or a rescue. If neither of those options will work and you must rehome her yourself, please, please, please have her spayed first. I cannot emphasize enough how important that is. I know that you would hate for her to be turned into a puppy machine - that's a big risk and people in the market for a puppy with that goal can be very deceiving about their intentions. If she's spayed, that keeps her safe from anyone who just wants to get her for breeding. (Although 6 months is a typical age for spay surgery, it can be done before then. Talk to your vet if she's younger and that's a concern.)
