I am using 3V cAps for our 5 year old female for seasonal allergies. They are SO expensive. Is the Salmon Grizzly oil better. Someone told me you could actually use whole sardines a couple times a week and they were actually better for the dog. Any advice? Thanks. BILL

Sardines are really good for them and would certainly be a choice. She will probably love them. :)

Wow! I had no idea about the sardines!! I use the liquid 3V for all my babies, Boomer doesn't like it, but Cracker Jack and Latte' loveeee it.
Maybe sardines are the way to go??
Do you feed the big dogs like the whole container?? I'm sure they would all love it.

I have been using the grizzly salmon oil for a couple months now. Ricky loves it!! Actually thats how I can get him to eat some meals he's not too thrilled with!! I started it because of his itchy skin, it really hasn't helped all that much to be honest but it still is beneficial for them anyway. Especially since my guy needs to gain some weight.

He also gets a can of salmon or mackerel about once a week. And a few eggs here and there too. All of which he loves!

I just recently have been trying the 3V pump oil thinking it might help with his skin a little better. He doesn't really like it, but you use a lot less..only 1 pump/day vs 3 pumps/day with the grizzly oil so it's easy to hide. It might actually not be all that much of a savings to switch over to the grizzly oil since you use more than the 3V. I don't actually remember how much I paid for the grizzly oil, but I got the 3V for $18 for the 230ml size.

I tried the 3V caps as well per reccomendation by vet. They didn't seem to make any impact on Syxx's allergie problems.
