You know I was trying to figure out a way to just stuff a twin size bed next to our queen so they were kind of attached. My dh really needs someplace to sleep...

Even though Cricket is only 14 weeks old, she sure can spread out and take up all kinds of room in the bed. Baron had me cornered to one small section, then she took the pillows. I was left a quivvering, freezing mass with a small corner of the covers all night long. The sad part is that I wouldn't dream of moving either one of them for my own comfort.

Anyone else like that?
   Oh My Goodness you just described me to a tee ;) Nice to know I'm not the only one...hee

Oh yes except in our case its 5 make the bed crowded. Me and DH are smashed against eachother, Barrett is right next to me and Duchess right next to DH, Harley sleeps on the pillow above my head. They take up more room than my DH who is 6'1 220 lbs!!

Ruby sleeps with me...in a king sized bed so there's loads of room, she used to sleep in her crate but it got to the point where I didn't want her to be in her crate downstairs on her own so I bought her up with me. She sleeps in the middle of the bed and dosn't usually cuddle up to me untill its early morn, around 6am, then she gets in the bed and lays with her head on my shoulder or face and starts with her little sighs and blows! :)

I have been cracking up reading this post. Kaybie loves her daddy (my BF) and refuses to let him sleep without being pushed up against him. He got no sleep last night because of her and this morning said, "she is getting too big for this"....I said, "No she isn't" (she will ALWAYS sleep in bed)......"there is nothing wrong with her loving her daddy and just wanting to cuddle up with you".....he replied with "yeah, I guess I will just have to adjust my sleeping style"......LOL.....he's such a pushover for her.......Kaybie is spoiled rotten! And we love her that way!

A king sized bed...

Is most definitely in my future - quickly I hope! This thread makes me smile. We have a queen size and my fiance is 6' 4" and then the two dogs and me. The dogs win :)

Also, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the "dead weight" phenomenon that seems to make your boxer weigh three times as much when he/she is asleep?? At times when I am foolish enough to attempt to move Oscar or Syd, I really CAN'T. They are only around 40 (Oscar) and 50 (Sydney) pounds, but they feel like two tons of wet cement! I especially love when they fake that they are still asleep and can't hear me say..."Move just a little bit for Mommy, honey, she wan'ts to sleep in the bed, too." :)

Isn't that the truth. Cricket and her little puny 15 pounds is like trying to move a small car when she's tired and doesn't want to be bothered.

Bella used to do fine sleeping on her bed in the corner, but then we started letting her snuggle in the mornings. Now she goes to sleep and wakes up several time during the night to try and come up on the bed. It's driving us nuts! We just decided we need to nip it in the bud and end the bed snuggling all together :(, but there's not room for all of us all night and having her wake us up 4 times a night is worse than having a newborn...
