2nd Dog Ideas; Not a Boxer

We have a choc lab mix

We have a choc lab mix who is a male. We were worried when we got our female boxer. They lay together all the time, play outside and occassionally in the house. They are great buds.

I would say Boston Terrier for sure. There are quite a few members on here that have that combo, myself included.

we wanted to add a bull terrier.. but too hard/expensive over here in the usa..
when i think about all those bully in shelters in france.. :(

Shit zu and Boston terriers are always a hit around here. My brother has a 12 week old German shepherd that does not like the boxer rowdiness at all. My neighbor has a lab rhat can tolerate but does not enjoy the boxers. I know 3 shit zus that do fine. I have never met a Boston terrier that didn't love a day at our place.

We used to have a Dachound (sp?) aka weenie dog, names Steeler! Chief played very well with him! And despite being tiny, Steeler could hold his own against Chief
