Maybe it's a Bailey thing...ha ha...
My Bailey (although he's a boy

),used to have this problem as well - I would hate to leave him home b/c I knew when I came home there would be a mess, and he would feel so bad. Hanging the head, no greeting, it was so sad...Plus - it was so hard (impossible really) to contain him to any one room, b/c he would break out of everything I could think of to confine him. (I'm back to this same dilema now as you may know from previous posts), anyway, I believe he has SA because his previous owner really doted on him and never left him alone (stay-at-home-mom), and I just couldn't do that ALL the time. Well now I've moved in with my fiance and he has 2 other dogs, and never once has Bail had an accident...
I am able to take Bail to work with me most of the time now, but not all the time again - but having the other dogs around to keep him company I think really helped him. He always had cats, but I think it was the dogs there that really made a difference...
So, have you thought about getting your Bailey a friend?
:D
